Monterey Part 1

Hey guys! What's up? I went to Monterey during summer vacation with some of my relatives on my mom's side and a relative's friend. I took lots of pictures on my Kodak Camera, and a couple of videos too, and so I'm going to share all of the pictures I took!!!
When we reached Monterey and finally parked in a parking lot space, there were stairs that led down to the aquarium on the left side, and buildings of food and stuff like that on the right side. There was a statue without a body aside, and so I decided to take a picture. My Tita Beth took this (my aunt Beth, but in truth she's really "Lola Beth"). Aren't I adorable?

When I reached the Monterey Bay Aquarium, I stopped a moment to take a picture with the sign, just like I did the last time I went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

When I got inside, one of my relatives showed an employee our tickets, and we headed immediately to a big diving tank full of kelp and algae. It seemed like I just got there in time, because there were scuba divers cleaning the tank. One scuba diver even waved at me!

After a short minute waving at the scuba divers, I hurried by the Deep Reef, which their sign is below.

In the Deep Reef, I took a picture of a tank full of... sea anemones? I'm not sure, because I forgot. There's no animals lurking around in this tank, just sea anemones (possibly). You can see a black line at the left, which shows a cut off sea anemone, but that's not your eyes playing tricks. The tank is like a box, each side has a square. So, it's just the beginning of a new square.

We went outside of the Deep Reef to go to the Touch Pool Area, which is my favorite part of the aquarium. There was a place to touch bat rays, and in truth they don't electrocute/sting you unless you treat them badly. I touched the Bat Ray when it came, and you can see my Ate Jessie's hand touching the Bat Ray too. My hand is the one with the watch.

Next to the Bat Ray Touch Area, there was also a place where you could touch starfish and kinds of plants. I didn't take a picture there because I only got a chance to touch the Bat Rays. Instead, we went inside a little place where a kind of waterfall would splash down. Don't worry, the water's not dripping over me. But doesn't it look like the water's dripping? Maybe not, but still!

There was a turtle tank near the building, and so I went to check it out and take a picture. I ended up pressing the video button, and I can't necessarily access the video on this blog, so I'm sorry :( .

Someone suggested going outside after we checked out the turtles, and so we went outside to look at the view. This is just a downward view of what I was seeing at the water from above.

Rocks, yay! With some birds to perch on it. Very fascinating...

Okay, enough of that outside nonsense, and into the cool world of jellyfish! Yay! Woo-hoo! These are two jellyfish swimming around a tank, ready to electrocute. (cue the cliffhanger music- dahn dahn dahn...)

I thought this was a fascinating thing to take, even though there's no image whatsoever, just words. Isn't it cool that jellyfish are "Japanese Sea Nettles?" And that they "keep a beat and go with the flow?" Does that mean jellyfish come from Japan? Hmmm. That goes for a thoroughly search through Google!

Are those mini jellyfish?
I'm not even sure... Huh.
